We just LOVE Duxbury Beach! This past weekend's family sitting there was another beauty! Since the images are intended to be an anniversary surprise for a special couple, we'll have to wait to post them. 
So, why not re-visit another Duxbury beach sitting and one adorable family; The Hartmans.

Ryan and Hilary Hartman are the busy parents of Lily, Ryder, and their new additon, Scarlett.  We were lucky enough to shoot Ryder at a few weeks old, and since then the Hartman's have kept us busy shooting their beautiful family as well as Ms.Scarlett's newborn sitting. Not only is this family a blast to work with, but the lens loves them as well. Not sure how these two make it look so easy, but they do!

Ahhhh...Spring is right around the corner, you can almost feel it.  A time for rebirth, renewal, rejuvination....so why not a relaunch of a website?  That's what we thought anyway!
We are really excited to showoff our new site.  We've neatened, streamlined, updated, and improved to show off our work and provide plenty of information about us and what we offer.

It's crazy to think that there was a time, not even that long ago, that businesses didn't have this amazing thing called the Internet to generate business.  Even recalling our first few sales meetings as ACE, we were lugging around our big old portfolio of matted images to show off to potential clients.  Though there is something to be said about the "old fashioned" way of sitting down with somebody and talking, the truth is all of our time is precious.  Giving viewers of our website plenty of information about us and what we offer allows them to decide if we may be a good fit before we meet.

That being said, we do love sitting down with potential clients too! Never underestimate the importance of a photographer's approach and personality when selecting one for your event or portrait sitting.  If you don't feel comfortable with the person taking your picture your not going to be yourself, and that is definitely something the camera captures.  We feel very lucky that this business allows us to rely on technology as well as good old charecter to sell our product!

These Mommies Are Back In Business!

Now that we are both done having babies we can get back to the business we love the most – Photography!

We are energized and invigorated for 2012 and cannot wait to photograph your wedding, event or portrait. This blog is our new way of showing off our gorgeous photos while keeping in touch with our old friends and hopefully meeting some new ones. We have some exciting things planned for 2012 and beyond. Though our photography business has sat on the back burner, we have kept our cameras shooting.
So, we thought, who better to showcase in our first blog than the little ones that have kept us so busy.

Ali is the proud mom of Ian (5), Sofia (almost 4), and Lucy (9 months). Courtney is the proud mom of Anthony (3) and Michael (18 months). Each with their own personality and style, these little angels are no stranger to having a camera pointed at them and it shows!
